Street-smart pop-soul singer-songwriter MoZella will hit the road this summer as a special guest of her best-selling Warner Bros. Records labelmate Daniel Powter. The twelve-date tour, which launches July 17th in Philadelphia and culminates August 4th and 5th in Los Angeles, will stop at theaters across the country, giving audiences a chance to hear songs from the 24-year-old Detroit native's upcoming debut album, "I Will," which will be released by Maverick Records on September 19th.

Tom Petty has signed an exclusive recording contract with Rick Rubin's American Recordings. The agreement keeps Petty within the Warner Bros. Records family -- his last four albums were on the Warner Bros. label, including 1994's multi-Platinum, Grammy-winning, Rubin-produced "Wildflowers" -- and Rubin recently brought his American Recordings label back to Burbank.

"Having Tom on American is a dream come true for me," commented Rubin. "Tom is the consummate craftsman when it comes to recording, and has written great songs consistently for thirty years." Rubin is excited to be expanding upon the working relationship he has with Petty & the Heartbreakers, who, in various combinations, have worked with the producer on numerous projects. Kelly Willis, named by NPR as "alternative country's golden goddess," returns after five years with the much-anticipated "Translated From Love." The album is the follow-up to the acclaimed "Easy" (2002), of which Rolling Stone said, "Kelly Willis' sweet, burnished voice practically spells heartache... Willis drapes her yearning voice over the tough but funny lyrics..." Rykodisc will release the new album on June 26.
